I asked Dr. Hamann to research an German uncle of mine who was killed in WW2. He visited the Wehrmacht archives in Berlin and discovered more precise information than we had. The information he discovered gave us a better clue as to where he is buried. Dr. Hamann is a particularly good communicator, and kept us fully appraised at each stage of the process. Thank you David.

I can highly recommend using David Hamann for archival research in German historical archives. He is very easy and friendly to deal with and works extremely efficiently. He is adept at working with hand-written and typed documents and has no problems dealing with the various kinds of Stasi files. I also used him to liaise with archival staff, which I'd recommend if you are based outside of Germany.
